Abby Care helps families provide care at home by supporting caregivers with the training, wages, and tools they need to do the job well. We believe family care is real work, and it deserves recognition, support, and respect.

Our story

As someone who grew up on the Medicaid system with my own family, I understand the challenges of trying to navigate care for a loved one.

My personal experience inspired me to create Abby Care – an organization where families like mine are at the heart of everything we do. At Abby Care, we lead with compassion and quality. We’re proud to offer specialized training, ongoing support, a strong community, and advocate for a supportive program for our caregivers across the U.S.

Rooted in purpose

In the early days Abby Care was a one-woman-show.

Our founder, Havi, answered all the calls from families looking for care and support.

Havi listened closely, offered guidance, and stayed with families until they felt supported and understood. Over time, families began calling back with updates on their care journeys and asking for advice.They started requesting to speak with “Abby”—because, as they put it, “Abby cares.” The name stuck, and Abby Care was born.
